This morning mommy and I got up really early to head down to the plaza by work for the New Kids On The Block first reunion concert. What a crazy mess that was! We waited for an hour for them to start in the rain and then we couldn't see them or hear them that well. I did get a video of them and a close up of Danny Wood, that was cool. Then we headed into work so mom could see Joe Scarborough, the host of Morning Joe, where she saw him interviewing Pat Buchanan. (see video)
Our next agenda for the day was the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and wow did we have a good time! It was raining the whole time but it was perfect because no one was there and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.
We were there for about 4 hours walking all around...it's was so gorgeous! My favorite place was the Rock Garden and the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden. Once we were almost tuckered out from walking we decided we still had time to check out the Brooklyn Museum of Art. It was a good museum and the featured artist was Murakami, the one that's design is on Louis Vuitton purses. What a cool and interesting exhibition that was, mom and I enjoyed most of his stuff. We saw the whole museum in about an hour and are completely exhausted with tired feet. See pictures. Now we are home relaxing and anxiously awaiting Dad's arrival. His flight got delayed and he wont be here until about 7:30pm instead of 5pm. Poor pappa :-(
