Outdoor movies at the park

On Wednesday night's Hudson River Park shows movie screenings outside at dusk, they call it River Flicks. Last night Elizabeth and I went and saw Almost Famous. What a fun evening! The weather was so nice at night, the breeze was actually refreshing, and being on the river with a sunset was gorgeous! Hopefully I will be able to go again. When we first arrived it was completely crowed and we had a hard time finding a place to sit. Our first spot was behind a row of chairs where we could hardly see the screen; second spot was to the side of the stage and a bit forward where we could see almost half the screen; then to girls left and we got to sit in chairs for the last half of the movie with a great view! I got to use my birthday picnic blanket with our first two spots and that was fun, thanks sisters! What a fun adventure :-) On our walk back to the subway after the movie, Elizabeth had a bug fly down her dress and that was a fun show to see ;-) hee hee Poor girl, she was freaking out!
