Curtis and Mary got to my house at 8am and it was so good to see them! I let them take a nap for a few hours and then we headed to
Garage for brunch. This place was a lot of fun and they had a live jazz band playing while we ate. The food was good too but not as good as Calle Ocho ;-)

We then went touring around Greenwich and SoHo before making our way to the new Yankee Stadium. It was 75 out and a gorgeous day for a baseball game! The Yankees lost to the Indians but the best part was that they got killed! 22-4 :-) I always like watching them lose!

After the game we headed down to the LES to meet some friends. First we stopped at
Nathan's on 14th for a corn dog(my favorite) and then went to
Crocodile Lounge for a free pie(pizza) with purchase of a drink. It was a lot the same as the
Alligator Lounge in Brooklyn but a very different crowd. At this point we were all stuffed. Next stop was
St Marks Ale House which is on the busy strip in East Village. A bunch of friends met us there to say "HI" to Curtis(probably for the last time) and to meet Mary. What a great day! My only worry is that I hope we didn't ware Mary out too much on her first day?
