All day Saturday Mom and I walked around the
NY Botanical Gardens and it was so beautiful. The sun was out and the flower and scenery were spectacular. One of my favorite places was the
Haupt Conservatory. They had the most beautiful orchids and other flowers I had never seen before. I got some really great pictures.
Last time mom was here we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and it was quit different than NY. Brooklyn was more landscaped while NY has a more natural looking feeling. We liked them both for different reasons. It was a relaxing day but we were both exhausted by the time we made it home. What a wonderful day!
