Maine here we come!

Saturday morning we got up, checked out of the hotel, and headed into town. We found a cute little place to eat breakfast called Jonathan's Pancake House. It was so good that it might even beat my favorite breakfast place in Burien, Huckleberry Square.

We then drove to Port Jefferson to catch a ferry to Bridgeport CT because at breakfast we decided to drive to Maine! :-) I was supper excited!!! After the bumpy ferry ride we drove on the 95 east through New Haven CN, Providence RI(beautiful capital), Boston MA(very cool bridge called Zakim bridge), New Hampshire(not much to see), and finally made it to Maine around 9pm. Not a whole lot was open this late but we found a place called Ship's Cellar Pub at the York Harbor Inn that was serving dinner til 9:30pm. Neither of us had eaten since breakfast just to hold out for a lobster dinner in Maine; so we were really glad we found a place. Let me tell you...it was well worth the wait! Dinner was amazing and there was a live band playing while we ate. Our plan after dinner was to finish driving to Portland Maine but we were both exhausted and talked about staying there for the night instead. We kept going back and forth and couldn't make up our minds so we rock-paper-sizzors to decided. It was pretty funny and needless to stay, we ended up staying there for the night! pictures
